Are You Driving One of These Deadly Cars?

In the United States, more than 33,000 people lose their lives in car accidents. If you are under the age of 55, the CDC reports that you are more likely to die in a car accident than anything else. So how can you protect yourself from suffering harm in a car accident this year? It turns out – the kind of car you choose to drive might play a role in whether you get into a serious car accident. Research shows that some cars are involved in more deadly crashes than others. Are you driving one of these deadly cars?

A new 2021 study examined car accident data from the NHTSA to determine which cars were the most dangerous. From 2013 to 2018, one vehicle stood out as the one that was involved in the most fatal car crashes. This vehicle was involved in roughly 11,000 deadly crashes during those five years.
